Day 1 : Venice
Fly with British Airways (Gatwick) or British Midland (Heathrow) to Venice and transfer to your chosen hotel for a two-night stay.
Overnight in Venice
Day 2 : Venice
Join your fellow Orient-Express guests on a panoramic tour of Venice, before an afternoon at leisure.

Day 3 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Depart late afternoon from Venice Santa Lucia. Your steward welcomes you on board. Settle into your compartment as the train travels through the Italian Dolomites and into Austria. Change for dinner and perhaps visit the bar car with its grand piano for an aperitif before enjoying a delicious dinner in one of the restaurant cars and overnight on board.

Days 4 & 5 : Krakow
Arrive in Krakow mid afternoon and transfer to the Sheraton Hotel for two nights. The next morning meet your guide and learn about the city of Krakow during a walking tour. The afternoon and evening is at leisure.

Day 6 : Krakow and the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Time for some last minute shopping before leaving Krakow this afternoon with dinner and overnight on board.

Days 7 & 8 : Dresden
The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express arrives in Dresden late morning for a two night stay.
Breakfast included. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 9 : Dresden and the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Say farewell to Dresden and continue your journey. Lunch and afternoon tea are served. This evening, enjoy a final farewell dinner and perhaps a nightcap in the bar car before retiring to your compartment.

Day 10 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Continental breakfast and brunch are served before arriving in Calais around noon. Cross to England by Eurotunnel shuttle coach and board the British Pullman train for London Victoria. Afternoon tea is served on board. Arrive around 5.30pm.
