Featuring a journey from London to Paris on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, with one night in London and three nights in Paris.
Day 1 : London
Arrive and check in independently at London's delightful Goring Hotel. This quintessentially English residence, with its beautiful garden, is a delightful hideaway at the very heart of London. In the afternoon visit the National Gallery for a guided tour of the paintings of Claude Monet and his contemporaries. Return to your hotel at leisure.
Overnight in London.
Day 2 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Early risers may choose to walk past Buckingham Palace and down to the Thames at Westminster, a scene which Monet memorably captured in a series of spectacular works made from his window at the Savoy Hotel during his three visits to London.
Depart London Victoria on board the British Pullman carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and travel through the Kentish countryside. After crossing the channel, travel in a private cabin on the continental Wagon-lits to Paris, arriving late evening. On arrival transfer to the four-star San Regis Hotel for a three night stay.
Lunch and dinner served on board. Overnight in Paris.
Days 3 & 4 : Paris
A series of special visits with an expert local guide will bring alive the paintings and story of Monet and his contemporaries. Included are the Musée de l'Orangeries des Tuileries (Monet's Water Lilies Museum), Musée Marmottan-Monet and a half-day visit to Monet's house and garden at Giverny with lunch.

Day 5 : London
Return to London by Eurostar (Standard Premier Class).
