Featuring a one-way journey from London to Verona on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, with one night in London, three nights in Milan and three nights in Florence.
Day 1 : London
Arrive independently at the Goring Hotel. Meet your National Gallery expert and depart around 14.00 for the British Museum for a private viewing of selected drawings by Leonardo & Michelangelo. Later transfer to the National Gallery, where you view the Leonardo's altarpiece painting "The Virgin of the Rocks" and the Gallery's two paintings by Michelangelo. Return to the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Day 2 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
After a private check-in at the hotel, board the gleaming carriages of the British Pullman at London Victoria station, before transferring to the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express once you've crossed the Channel, for an overnight journey to Verona. All table d'hôte meals and house wine with lunch and dinner are included.

Day 3 : Milan
Arrive in Verona late afternoon and transfer to Milan for a three-night stay at the magnificent Hotel Principe di Savoia. Savour a gourmet dinner tonight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Milan
This morning visit the 15th-century Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, The Last Supper. After lunch, travel to the Ambrosiana Library to see Leonardo's Codex Atlanticus. In the evening dinner is arranged at Savini - one of Milan's most famous restaurants.

Day 5 : Milan
This morning visit Castello Sforzesco, home to Michelangelo's late Pietà, before enjoying a local lunch and afternoon either at leisure or seeing the Brera Art Gallery. Dinner this evening is at El Brellin, located in the lively Navigli district.

Day 6 : Florence
Leave late morning for the drive to Florence with a visit en route to Villa San Donnino, famed for its Balsamic vinegar, where a light lunch is served. Arrive at the stunning Orient-Express hotel Villa San Michele for a three-night stay, where this evening you can enjoy dinner on the terrace overlooking Florence.

Day 7 : Florence
A morning tour of Florence commences with a visit to Chiesa di Ognissanti to view Ghirlandaio's Last Supper followed by a trip to the Accademia to view the statue of David by Michelangelo. Lunch is included before an afternoon visit to Santa Maria Novella. This evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 8 : Florence
Return to the city for a visit to the world famous Uffizi Gallery. Enjoy lunch in Florence before either an afternoon at leisure or a visit to the Church of San Miniato al Monte. A dinner to remember at the hotel is a fitting finale to the trip.

Day 9 : London
Late afternoon transfer to Florence airport for the return flight to London Gatwick.
