Days 1, 2 & 3 : Rome
Fly from London to Rome and spend three nights in the Eternal City at your chosen hotel. There is plenty of time for you to discover this Grand city, with optional sightseeing tours available on request.
Breakfast included. Overnight in Rome.
Days 4 & 5 : Venice
Depart Rome and journey by Italian State railways (First Class) to Venice. On arrival, enjoy a two night stay in Venice. The next day, explore Venice at your own pace. There are optional sightseeing tours available on selected days: visit the ancient workshop of the Bevilacqua family. Here, precious yarns are woven into fabrics used to furnish royal palaces and residences throughout the world. A morning sightseeing tour, "Hidden Venice" is included on Day 5.

Day 6 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Say farewell to Venice as you embark on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the highlight of your holiday. On arrival at Santa Lucia Station, your personal steward settles you into your compartment, followed by lunch as you travel through the Italian Dolomites and into Austria. Afternoon tea and pastries are served before arrival into Innsbruck late afternoon. Enjoy a gourmet dinner, devised by Chef Christian Bodiguel, and perhaps a night cap in the bar before an overnight on board.

Day 7 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Continental breakfast is served in your compartment as the train arrives in Paris. A short stop is made to allow fellow travellers to board or disembark and to pick up supplies. A delicious and extensive brunch is served before arriving in Calais around noon.
Cross to England by Eurotunnel shuttle coach and embark on the British Pullman train for London Victoria during which time a traditional afternoon tea is served. Arrive around 5.30pm.
