Day 1 - Paris
Travel from London Waterloo to Paris by Eurostar (Leisure Select Class). On arrival transfer to the Le Meurice Hotel for one night.
Overnight in Paris.
Day 2 - Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Depart Paris in the afternoon on board the blue and gold carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and travel through France, Switzerland and Austria towards Budapest, Hungary's capital city.
Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight on board.
Day 3 - Budapest
Arrive in Budapest for an overnight stay at the Atrium Hotel with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 - Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
After sightseeing and lunch in Budapest rejoin the train. Continue eastwards through Hungary and into Romania.

Day 5 - Bucharest
After a stop for sightseeing at Peles Castle, the spectacular, former summer home of the Romanian royal family, arrive in Bucharest early afternoon. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the capital before overnight at the Hilton Athenée Palace Hotel.

Day 6 - Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Depart Bucharest this morning. En route to Turkey, a stop will be made at Varna, Bulgaria's third-largest city, which has elegant 19th-century buildings and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight on board.
Day 7 - Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul late afternoon and transfer to the Ciragan Palace Hotel for three nights.
Breakfast and lunch served on board. Overnight in Istanbul.
Days 8 & 9 - Istanbul
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing with lunch at a local restaurant on Day 8. The remainder of your time in Istanbul is at leisure.

Day 10 - London
Return to London Heathrow by British Airways.
