Days 1 & 2 : Venice
Fly from London with British Airways (Gatwick) or British Midland (Heathrow) to Venice, for a two-night stay. Time at leisure to explore this wonderful city. You can also take the optional sightseeing tour, Venetian Tapestry, which is available on selected Tuesdays.
Breakfast included. Overnight in Venice.
Day 3 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Board the blue and gold carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in the evening and travel overnight to Budapest.
Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight on board.
Days 4 & 5 : Budapest
Arrive in Budapest, the Hungarian Capital, late afternoon and transfer to your hotel for two nights. On Day 5, join fellow travellers on a morning sightseeing tour. Get a fine view of the city, drive through Pest and, subject to state arrangements, visit the Parliament building. Later, cross the Danube to Buda, with its superb views and cobbled streets. The remainder of your time in Budapest is at leisure.

Days 6 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Rejoin the train in the early afternoon for the overnight towards Paris.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner included. Overnight on board.
Day 7 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Travel through France and after crossing the channel, board the British Pullman carriages for the final part of your journey, arriving at your destination, London Victoria, late afternoon.
Breakfast, brunch and afternoon tea included.
