Day 1 : Venice

Fly from London Gatwick or Heathrow to Venice where you stay in your chosen hotel for two nights.

Day 2 : Venice

Follow in the footsteps of history and explore at leisure. The Piazza San Marco - the drawing room of Europe - is on your doorstep, as well as a wealth of galleries and museums. There are optional sightseeing tours available.

Day 3 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Say farewell to Venice as you embark on the highlight of your holiday. Depart mid-morning on board the blue and gold carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and travel through the wonderful scenery of Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

Afternoon tea and pastries are served before arrival into Innsbruck late afternoon. Enjoy another gastronomic dinner, served in one of the beautifully restored restaurant cars, and perhaps a night cap in the bar before an overnight on board.

Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner included. Overnight on board.

Day 4 : Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Travel through France and after crossing the channel board the Belmond British Pullman carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the final part of your journey, arriving at your destination, London Victoria at 5.30pm.
