Enjoy a luxurious feast for all your senses on board the Northern Belle with a lunch or dinner excursion lasting approximately four delightfully indulgent hours.
Savour mouth watering food and carefully selected wines as you relax and let your attentive stewards care for your every need as the rich and varied tapestry of the country's finest landscapes glide gently by.
The fine meals served on board the Northern Belle are freshly prepared by master chefs, and are accompanied with chilled champagne and wine. The actual meals served vary according to the journey taken. As long as we are notified at the time of booking, we can cater for special dietary requirements. We do however regret that Belmond are unable to provide meals requiring strict religious observance in the preparation.

Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea on a leisurely trip through the British countryside. Your table is set with white linen, delicate china and bespoke glassware as liveried stewards bring a selection of sumptuous treats, including fresh scones and delicate pastries.

The Afternoon Tea is a unique experience aboard the gleaming carriages of the Northern Belle. Enjoy a welcome bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne per couple accompanied by a delicious selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones and fruit cakes, clotted cream and preserve, along with Tea or Coffee whilst being entertained by strolling musicians and a table magician. Passengers do not disembark during this journey.

Soon after, skilled stewards will serve your starter, followed by a delightful seasonal soup course, personally presented to you. The main course, a masterpiece carefully crafted to showcase the finest British produce inspired by the journey ahead, will follow shortly. To conclude the dining experience, enjoy a luscious seasonal dessert. As the journey nears its end, savor the opportunity to choose from an array of British cheeses displayed on our award-winning cheese board. Accompanied by chutney, fruitcake, biscuits, and a glass of Port, this cheese selection promises to be a delightful finale. Finally, take a moment to reflect on the journey ahead while relishing the taste of Fortnum & Mason tea complemented by delightful petits fours.
