The Golden Eagle is the flagship of the fleet, the train that built its reputation on the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway and now carries travellers deep into the Caucasus and Central Asia, to places few private trains have ever reached.
Purpose-built for the great distances and remote landscapes of the Silk Road and beyond, the Golden Eagle is a self-contained world of comfort: three classes of en-suite cabin, two elegant restaurant cars and a bar lounge with a baby grand piano at its heart. A personal cabin attendant looks after you throughout, the wines are chosen by the company's own founder, and the level of service that comes as standard is a large part of what makes a journey aboard so memorable.

The Cabins
Every cabin on the Golden Eagle is fully en-suite, with individual air-conditioning, a personal safe, a wardrobe, a DVD and CD player with an LCD screen and a large picture window. Bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer and toiletries are provided, complimentary tea, coffee and mineral water are available at all times, and in-cabin dining can be arranged on request. There are three classes to choose from.
Imperial Suite
The most spacious and luxurious accommodation on the train, with a king-size bed and a separate lounge area with dressing table, framed by two large picture windows. It comes with a fully stocked complimentary minibar, a small library, a DVD and CD player with LCD screen and a personal safe, and an en-suite bathroom with a power shower and underfloor heating.
Imperial Suite guests also enjoy a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne on boarding, complimentary laundry, and a private guide and chauffeured car in many destinations.

Complimentary laundry is included in the Imperial Suite and available at an additional charge in Gold and Silver Class.
Dining on Board
The Golden Eagle has two beautifully designed restaurant cars, where meals are served in a relaxed and convivial single sitting with the freedom to dine wherever, and with whomever, you please. The day begins with a bountiful breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, cereals, cold plates and freshly squeezed orange juice, with cooked dishes to order. Lunch and dinner menus are inspired by the countries the train travels through, paired with wines personally selected by the company's founder, Tim Littler, and mineral water, draught beer and soft drinks are included.

The Bar Lounge Car
The bar lounge is the social heart of the Golden Eagle. A baby grand piano takes pride of place, with a resident pianist playing each evening, and the bar stays open until the last guest retires. It is where the group gathers for the Tour Manager's daily briefings, for evening entertainment and expert lectures, and for quieter moments over afternoon tea or a game of cards as the landscape rolls by.
Service and Staff
First-class service comes as standard aboard the Golden Eagle, delivered by a team whose only concern is that you want for nothing.
Personal Cabin Attendant
A cabin attendant is available to you at all times, preparing your cabin, turning down the bed each evening and attending to any request.
Tour Manager
An experienced Tour Manager travels with the group, organising the excursion programme and conducting the daily briefings in the bar lounge car.
Executive Chef & Team
An Executive Chef and skilled restaurant team prepare every meal on board, welcomed to the table by the Guest Relations Manager.
