Hotel Paris Prague
Five StarThe Hotel Paris is one of the most distinctive buildings in Prague: a family-run five-star hotel built in 1904 in Neo-Gothic style with Art Nouveau elements, standing directly opposite the Municipal House on the edge of Old Town and New Town. It has been a significant address in Prague for over a century, and the building's elaborate ceramic and terracotta exterior, with its turrets and carved details, is one of the most photographed facades in the city. The Republic Square Metro stop is directly adjacent, and Old Town Square is a few minutes' walk.
The 86 rooms and suites are furnished with replicas of the original Art Nouveau pieces from when the hotel opened, the tiled bathrooms have underfloor heating, and the attention to detail in the restoration and maintenance of a building of this age and character is considerable. The Sarah Bernhardt Restaurant serves French and Czech cuisine in an elegantly decorated dining room, while Tony's Cafe, with its 1920s Parisian atmosphere, is open throughout the day for lighter dishes, pastries, wines, champagnes and cocktails. Wellness facilities including a sauna, jacuzzi and spa are complimentary for all guests. Prague main railway station is approximately 2km away, making arrival from the VSOE straightforward.
